(SRS) has developed a general turboprop fuel burn prediction model based on the Beechcraft\u00a0 1900D&#8217;s Pratt &amp; Whitney PT6A-67D engine during the current phase of the Green Aviation Research and Development Network (GARDN) project.<\/p>\n<p>Under ISA conditions, the total fuel flow of both engines is on average 97.5% of the published fuel flow data for the aircraft for the full range of cruise power settings from 0 ft to 25,000 ft.\u00a0 For example, at 20,000 ft under High Speed Cruise power, the predicted total fuel flow is 890.6 pph vs. a published fuel flow of 888.0 pph or within +0.6% of actual.\u00a0 This preliminary thermodynamic model will be refined in collaboration with our partner Carleton University.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Specific Range Solutions Ltd.
