Presentations from NBAA 2010 Session and AERO 4003 Lecture

Here is the presentation on fuel tankering I gave in Atlanta along with Marcus Walker of Universal Aviation & Weather and Chuck Reeves of Qualcomm entitled “Flight Planning Optimization and Fuel Uplift Requirements to Reduce Operational Costs” (1.8 MB). Many thanks to Scott Jefvert of Galvin Flying for the invitation. Our presentation on the morning of October 19th, 2010 drew a full house which suggested fuel cost consciousness among business aircraft operators.

Also available is the lecture I recently gave to the AERO 4003 Aerospace Systems Design class at Carleton University on the design of current and future aircraft air systems. The presentation is entitled “Aircraft Environmental Control Systems” (2.3 MB).

I will be in Munich from November 28th through December 2nd to attend Aviation Week’s Engine MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) Forum.

Any comments/feedback are always welcome.

    Alan,
Thank you, glad to hear you enjoyed our presentation. Please contact Chuck Reeves (creeves@qualcomm.com) directly, I am sure he will be more than happy to share the spreadsheet with you. If you would like a Windows-based application with similar functionality, I would be happy to design a demo for you.
    Best regards,
    Omer
